Telemetry RN Job Details

Location: Concord, Massachusetts 01742
Healthcare Setting: Float Pool – Telemetry Unit
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Start Date: September 22, 2025
End Date: December 20, 2025
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:30pm)
Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license (required for all Massachusetts nursing jobs)
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
Experience with Meditech electronic health records highly preferred
Ability to float to similar clinical units as needed
Successful completion of a Telemetry competency test on the first day of orientation

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Telemetry/Float Pool unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care using Meditech (if applicable)
Adapt to floating assignments within similar hospital units as needed
Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
