Job summary
Monte Nido Clementine Montgomery in Skillman, NJ seeks a full-time Recovery Coach for day shift to support adolescents on their recovery journey in a residential program dedicated to eating disorders. You will join a team focused on empathy, education, and family partnerships to replace eating disorders with healthy skills.
The role requires weekend coverage, a 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, and offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for
Qualifications
- Requires at least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
- Experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
- Valid state driver's license with a safe driving history.
- Strong communication and client-relations skills and ability to work as a team.
Responsibilities
- Be a key player in supporting clients through their recovery journey.
- Provide support and interventions per the treatment plan.
- Help clients develop healthy connections with peers and staff.
- Assist in food prep and supervision of meals and snacks.
- Expose clients to therapeutic groups and help develop core skills.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations.
- Occasionally drive clients to appointments and activities.
