Job summary

Monte Nido Clementine Montgomery in Skillman, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Recovery Coach for the day shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) to support adolescents through their recovery journey in a residential program.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate client engagement, and collaboration with treatment staff. Pay ranges from $16 to $21 per hour, with weekend and overnight differentials, and on-site benefits are provided to support staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology preferred and at least 2 years of post-high school education.
At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
Valid state-issued Driver’s License with safe driving history.
Strong communication, client relations, teamwork, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Support clients through their recovery journey as part of the treatment team.
Provide encouragement and intervention aligned with each client’s treatment plan.
Engage clients to develop healthy connections with peers and staff in the milieu.
Assist in food prep and supervise meals and snacks as needed.
Participate in exposure to therapeutic groups and core skill development.
Conduct rounds and provide client observations.
Occasionally drive clients to appointments and activities off-site.
