Job summary
The Maury Loontjens Memorial Library in Narragansett, RI, is seeking a full-time Young Adult Librarian to serve patrons aged 12–18. The role emphasizes planning and delivering engaging programs, coordinating with Youth Services staff, and providing outreach to schools and community partners.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in library science from an ALA-accredited program or in final months of degree.
- Proficiency in online searching.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 and Google Suite; able to learn online circulation system and standard library tech.
Responsibilities
- Provide programming and services for ages 12-18.
- Assist with circulation at the youth desk and front desk when needed.
- Lead youth services programs in the absence of Youth Services Librarian.
- Coordinate room reservations and community outreach.
