Job summary

The YMCA of Greater New York, North Brooklyn Branch, seeks a Teen Coordinator to lead the management and implementation of teen programs after school and during summer evenings. Under the Youth & Family Director, you will help with staff oversight and program development to engage teens and build community partnerships.

Responsibilities include outreach, recruitment, coordinating travel (overnight and multi-day trips), and measuring program impact for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A college degree in Education or Social Work is desired.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with teens/youth and planning activities.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and implementation of all teen programs at the branch.
• Assist Youth & Family Director with staff management, program development, outreach, recruitment, and partnerships.
• Supervise teen travel, including overnight and multi-day trips.
• Coordinate programs during school year, after school hours, Saturdays, and summer evenings.
• Measure program impact for continuous improvement.
