Job summary

DMBGC is seeking a Unit Coordinator – Park Street in Champaign, IL to support day-to-day operations of the Teen Program sites. This full-time, hourly role supports the Unit Director in delivering high-quality programs for ages 11-17 and oversees front desk staff and volunteers to ensure a safe environment.

The position bears a schedule during the school year from 11:00AM to 8:00PM, Monday through Friday, with longer summer hours 7:30AM–6:30PM. Benefits include health, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (education, psychology, child development, social work) or four years’ youth program experience.
• Two+ years direct staff supervision or managing a team of 10+.
• Direct programming experience with youth development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Unit Director and ICJIA Program Director in implementing site programs and activities.
• Ensure a healthy, safe environment and maintain facilities and supplies.
• Supervise front desk staff and volunteers; assist with behavior management.
• Assist with data collection, attendance tracking, and program reporting.
• Lead outreach events and marketing to promote club activities.
