Job summary

Safe N Sound YMCA in Naperville, IL seeks a Site Coordinator to implement Positive Youth Development practices with school-age participants. You will lead daily activities, ensure program quality, and supervise staff while managing supplies and snacks.

You will collaborate with schools and parents, maintain records per DCFS and YMCA standards, assist in special events, and participate in outreach and program marketing. Minimum age 21 and relevant education preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old or older than the oldest participant by 5 years, with education/credentials meeting program requirements.
• Previous experience in childcare or education supporting high-quality programs.
• Ability to make effective decisions and communicate with team, parents and children.

Responsibilities

• Implements program curriculum with staff while following DCFS and YMCA standards.
• Provides leadership and guidance to onsite staff and plans staff meetings.
• Enhances parent/guardian engagement and ensures program quality expectations.
• Collaborates with schools to align activities and maintains files per standards.
• Participates in special events and program marketing; supports day camp activities.
