Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command seeks a CYP Teen Coordinator to plan, organize, and supervise a supervised social, recreational, and educational program for youth aged 13-18. You will lead development and execution of activities aligned with DoN requirements and BGCA/4-H programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with other installations, safety compliance, and outreach to families to foster engagement in CYP activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in a related field (ECE, Child Development, Youth Recreation, PE, Education).
• Associate degree in a related field required or preferred.
• CDA or Military School-Age credential or equivalent with HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise a teen program for ages 13-18.
• Develop activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
• Collaborate with installations to plan regionally appropriate teen activities.
• Ensure safety requirements and prepare spaces for scheduled activities.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, and manage program operations.
