Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus is seeking a Teen Program Coordinator & BBYO City Director to create engaging teen programming across Columbus, develop JCamps Counselor in Training (CIT), and collaborate with BBYO advisors. The City Director role will involve facilitating BBYO activities and ensuring alignment with BBYO policies and regional schedules.

Qualifications

BA or BS required.
Teen and/or BBYO experience preferred; experience planning and facilitating Jewish youth programming preferred; experience leading teens preferred.

Responsibilities

Create engaging teen programming focused on Israel education, antisemitism awareness, community service, college readiness and social connections.
Develop and oversee JCamps Summer Counselor in Training (CIT) program and work on JCamps leadership team.
Lead BBYO City Director responsibilities, supervise volunteer advisors for BBG and AZA in Columbus and coordinate city-wide events.
Partner with BBYO regional and local Jewish agencies to implement movement-wide initiatives and maintain quarterly updates with stakeholders.
Communicate with parents and families about local and regional BBYO events and opportunities.
Monitor budgets and ensure effective program delivery and safety for teens.
