Job summary

JCC of Youngstown is seeking a Youth & Camping Services Manager & Camp Director to develop and lead summer camp and year-round youth programs in Youngstown, Ohio. The role requires hands-on engagement with students and staff, program planning, scheduling, and behavior management to ensure high-quality experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a background in youth programming, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while partnering with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with camp, school-age children and teens.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Pass FBI/BCI background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and schedule activities for Youth Programs and serve as Camp Director during summer.
• Oversee JCare programs and manage staff schedules, attendance, and class ratios.
• Coordinate staff training, development, and recruitment for the camp and youth programs.
• Serve as main point of contact for parents/guardians; communicate program updates regularly.
