RESTORE DETOX CENTERS LLC in Poway, CA is seeking a compassionate Detox/Residential Technician to support clients in a structured, therapeutic environment. You will monitor safety, assist with admissions, and collaborate with clinical staff to implement individualized treatment plans.

Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal skills, a client-centered approach, and flexibility for night and weekend shifts. Training and certification in CPR/First Aid preferred or obtainable after hire.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications a plus.
• Prior experience in detox, residential treatment, or behavioral health setting preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress or crisis situations.
• Willingness to work various shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and observe clients in a detox and residential treatment setting to ensure safety and well-being.
• Conduct admissions of clients including orientation, intake assessment, urine screen, medication management, protocols and recurring assessments.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and maintain a structured, therapeutic environment.
• Document client behavior, vitals, and progress accurately in accordance with facility protocols along with adherence to JCAHO and state client care standards.
• Proficient documentation in KIPU Systems or similar client management software.
• Respond to client needs, concerns, and crisis situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct regular room checks, facility walkthroughs, and safety inspections.
• Facilitate group activities and support client engagement in the recovery process.

• Drug and Alcohol Counseling Certification desired/willingness to obtain upon hire
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress or crisis situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work various shifts including nights and weekends
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
