Responsibilities include client monitoring, admissions, daily living assistance, and collaboration with clinical staff. Relevant CNA/CADC certifications and CPR/First Aid are a plus; a background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and observe clients in detox and residential settings to ensure safety and well-being.
• Conduct admissions including orientation, intake assessment, urine screen, and medication management.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and maintain a structured, therapeutic environment.
• Document client behavior, vitals, and progress per facility protocols and state standards.
• Documentation in KIPU or similar client management software.
• Respond to client needs and crises with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to support treatment plans.
• Conduct room checks, safety inspections, and support group activities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and observe clients in a detox and residential treatment setting to ensure safety and well-being
• Conduct admissions of clients including orientation, intake assessment, urine screen, medication management, protocols and recurring assessments
• Assist clients with daily living activities and maintain a structured, therapeutic environment
• Document client behavior, vitals, and progress accurately in accordance with facility protocols along with adherence to JCAHO and state client care standards
• Proficient documentation in KIPU Systems or similar client management software
• Respond to client needs, concerns, and crisis situations with professionalism and empathy
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to support individualized treatment plans
• Conduct regular room checks, facility walkthroughs, and safety inspections
• Facilitate group activities and support client engagement in the recovery process

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications (CNA, CADC, or similar) a plus
• Prior experience in a detox, residential treatment, or behavioral health setting preferred
• Drug and Alcohol Counseling Certification desired/willingness to obtain upon hire
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress or crisis situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work various shifts including nights and weekends
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
