Job summary

National Beef in North Baltimore, Ohio is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting wage is $29.50/hr with a $1/hr shift differential and a $3/hr Perfect Attendance Bonus. The role requires industrial maintenance or electrical experience and offers comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

On-site position with overtime possible after 40 hours per week. Applicants must be 18+ and able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship at this time.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and be punctual when scheduled.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems and motor controls is a plus.
• Industrial maintenance and refrigeration experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and replace equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance, lubrication, and inspection.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment and controls.
• Log work activities for equipment history and parts management.
• Collaborate with management on maintenance issues across the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsabilidades

Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance- Lubrication/inspection
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment- Motors, Drives, controls
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This position is on-site.

Cualificaciones

The ideal candidate for the maintenance technician position should possess the following:

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Industrial Electrical controls experience
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
• Refrigeration Experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
