Job summary

National Beef of North Baltimore, Ohio, is looking for a qualified professional to join our Maintenance Team. Starting wage is $29.50 per hour with a $1 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift, plus a $3.00 attendance bonus paid weekly.

Overtime is available after 40 hours per week. We provide weekly payroll, company-paid life and disability insurances, 401(k) with a strong match, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance—Lubrication/inspection.
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment—Motors, Drives, controls.
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting.
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Industrial Electrical controls experience
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
• Refrigeration Experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
