Job summary

National Beef is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician at our North Baltimore, Ohio facility. The successful candidate will maintain and repair mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with equipment installations on a Friday–Monday schedule.

The role offers competitive wages starting at $29.50 per hour with a $1 per hour shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts and a $3.00 per hour Perfect Attendance Bonus paid weekly, plus comprehensive benefits after 30 days of

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment.
• Ability to use common hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail.
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Industrial Electrical controls experience.
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls.
• Industrial Maintenance Experience.
• Refrigeration Experience.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance- Lubrication/inspection.
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment- Motors, Drives, controls.
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting.
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems
