Job summary

Garner Cleaning Service has been servicing Southern Illinois since 1996. We are a family-owned business with 30+ team members.

The successful candidate will perform general cleaning across client sites, including trash removal, dusting, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and conference rooms. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window washing, with duties varying by location and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to lead others on job sites and solve problems to create successful outcomes.
• Experience in cleaning is prioritized over none.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties including trash removal, dusting, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices and conference rooms.
• Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming floors, window washing.
• Other duties as assigned; may vary by client site.

Minimum Hiring Requirements

• Transportation: Successful candidates must have a reliable vehicle or transportation to get to job sites. Applicants must also have a valid driver's license.
• Background Check: Due to requirements of our clients, the successful candidate must pass a criminal background check.
• Experience: Candidates with prior cleaning experience will be prioritized over those with no experience.

Benefits

Paid Time Off: After 90 days, earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.

Training: Garner Cleaning Service will train the employee on the proper guidelines, procedures, and use of chemicals and equipment during initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined.
