Plaid is seeking an IT Ops Engineer in San Francisco to own and improve critical infrastructure. You will manage Okta configurations, automate endpoint provisioning, and deploy AI tooling to boost productivity for thousands of employees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting a large fleet of macOS devices.
• Experience with mobile device management for Apple devices (Iru, Intune, or Workspace One).
• Experience with configuration as code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience leveraging Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools to improve solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Okta configuration, including lifecycle policies, access reviews, MFA enforcement, and Workflows automation.
• Manage endpoint configuration via Iru or Kandji, with policy-as-code and version-controlled configurations.
• Build and maintain automation that reduces repetitive support burden.
• Evaluate, deploy, and support AI tooling that improves team and company productivity.
• Manage SaaS procurement and renewals for the systems the team owns.
• Actively own and support company-wide SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Linear, Slack, and Okta.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, and GTM teams on planned work that crosses into the team's systems or areas of expertise.
• Work from the office 3 days per week.
