Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a seasoned technical operations professional to support and administer JFrog and Atlassian Data Center environments. You will investigate incidents, monitor platform health, and drive improvements across CI/CD tooling.

Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to maintain reliability and performance. The role emphasizes hands-on platform maintenance, upgrades, and long-term automation initiatives, with strong emphasis on incident response and runbook

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in technical support/TechOps or platform ops.
• Experience supporting JFrog applications.
• Hands-on administering Atlassian products.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance issue analysis.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code ( Terraform, Ansible).
• Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement and root-cause resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer JFrog and Atlassian Data Center applications.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve incidents and user issues promptly.
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and usage trends.
• Contribute to performance tuning and optimization.
• Support CI/CD workflows and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain runbooks and operational procedures.
• Lead upgrades and platform improvements.
• Support future migration initiatives.
• Identify recurring issues and drive long-term improvements and automation.
• Participate in the on-call rota for availability.

Your Present Skillset:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical support, systems administration, TechOps, DevOps or platform operations role.
• Strong experience supporting JFrog applications.
• Hands-on experience administrating Atlassian products.
• Experience with AWS, including EC2, RDS & EKS.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications.
• Experience investigating performance issues, service degradation, and high-volume platform usage.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and root-cause resolution.
  

Your Future Role:

• Support and administer JFrog applications.

• Support and administer Atlassian Data Center applications.

• Investigate, triage, and resolve incidents, service requests, and user issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and usage trends across the development tooling estate.

• Contribute to performance tuning.

• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to resolve complex technical issues.

• Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, support processes, and operational procedures.

• Lead upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance activities, and platform improvements.
