Job summary

Feeding America is seeking a Manager, Technology Vendor Management in a hybrid Chicago role. You will lead vendor strategy, governance, and performance across a growing portfolio of technology partners to support mission delivery.

Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to maximize value and manage risk. The role emphasizes scalable vendor practices, oversight of sourcing and contracts, and driving measurable savings while aligning with Feeding America’s technology roadmap

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology experience, including at least 5 years of direct vendor management, operations management, or vendor oversight experience.
• Proven ability to lead vendor management practices across sourcing, RFx processes, contract negotiation, onboarding, governance, performance management, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of the technology services landscape, including architecture, planning, requirements, outsourcing models, pricing, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates and manages productive relationships with key and strategic technology vendors to support service delivery and long-term value.
• Serves as primary relationship point for strategic vendors, conducting regular business reviews and performance discussions.
• Evaluates vendor health by monitoring responsiveness, quality, risk, and alignment with business needs.
• Defines strategies for vendor partnerships across strategic, operational, and commodity relationships.
• Manages vendor engagement lifecycle: sourcing, selection, contract negotiation, onboarding, governance, and billing.
• Defines and manages core vendor governance processes, including scorecarding and risk management.
• Reports quarterly to Technology Leadership on status, performance, risks, and value of relationships.
• Identifies sourcing synergies and opportunities for cost savings and improved service delivery.
