Job summary

Feeding America is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources Operations to direct benefits design, HRIS and payroll, policy development, employee engagement, onboarding, and office management. Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience designing and administering benefit systems.
• Deep experience in employee relations, leadership coaching and risk mitigation.
• Experience implementing HRIS/Payroll systems with regulatory compliance.
• Experience developing talent acquisition and employee engagement strategies.
• Experience supporting senior leaders with HR solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees benefits development and administration (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement) and open enrollment.
• Ensures compliance with benefit regulations (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, state programs) and maintains plan documentation.
• Oversees employee relations processes and partnerships with HR Partners.
• Designs and socializes HR policies and SOPs for consistent application.
• Directs full-cycle talent acquisition, workforce planning and onboarding.
• Oversees payroll operations across multi-state locations and payroll system integrations.
• Oversees HRIS roadmap, data governance, reporting and user training.
• Leads safety and compliance programs (OSHA, workers' comp, incident reporting).
• Responsible for office management for DC and Chicago offices.
