Overview

• The firm's Life Sciences Transactions + Licensing team advises clients across the full product and company lifecycle, from discovery and development through commercialization and exit, representing a broad spectrum of industry participants, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic, agricultural, food, beverage, CPG, research institutions, investors, and digital health companies.


• The role involves supporting corporate transactions (e.g., venture financings, M&A, joint ventures) through IP and commercial contract due diligence, and preparing and reviewing key transaction documents.


• Associates gain hands-on experience with high-impact transactions, including licensing, collaborations, manufacturing and supply agreements, and strategic partnerships, for clients ranging from early-stage emerging growth companies to global public companies.


• The position requires interfacing with clients, in-house counsel, and counterparties in a deal-driven environment, and collaborating across practice areas such as corporate, IP, regulatory, and litigation on multidisciplinary and complex cross-border matters.


• A strong preference exists for candidates with extensive experience in the life sciences sector, possessing knowledge of its unique legal, regulatory, and business issues.


• Experience with, or a strong interest in, transactions in agriculture (including plant biotechnology) and food (including CPG) is a plus.


• An undergraduate or advanced degree in biological sciences, chemistry, pharmacy, business, or similar areas is preferred.
