Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to design and deliver comprehensive learning programs for the firm's attorneys and staff. The role focuses on eLearning video production, LMS administration, and creating clear user instructions to support firm-wide technology initiatives.

You will run trainings via Microsoft Teams and Zoom, perform needs assessments, and collaborate with departments to craft learning tracks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of training experience required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
• High level of familiarity with software used at large law firms.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft products and legal applications.
• Ability to create, rewrite, and update user instructions.

• Train and orient new and existing employees on firm policies, procedures, and computer and telephone systems
• Provide ongoing training to attorneys and staff on systems relevant to their job requirements
• Deliver training using Microsoft Teams and Zoom
• Write and update technical instructions, quick reference guides, user manuals, and announcements
• Develop and deliver eLearning videos using authoring tools
• Serve as a primary administrator for the LMS
• Support software rollouts through needs assessment, course design, documentation and video development, scheduling, delivery, and tracking
• Assist with testing new software and systems
• Develop surveys and provide survey reports
• Deliver classroom instruction
• Travel to other offices to train users as needed
• Liaise between IS and administrative departments to assess training needs and develop courses and deliverables
• Assist management in creating learning tracks for direct reports
• Contribute to firmwide and information systems initiatives as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of training experience required
• Four years of high school-level education or equivalent understanding of procedures and instructions
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
• High level of familiarity and expertise with software used at large law firms
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft products and legal applications
• Strong technical aptitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create, rewrite, and update user instructions
• Ability to produce high-quality eLearning video content
• Ability to learn new technologies and retrain users under deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate from established procedures and guidelines under low direction
• Ability to establish successful working relationships throughout the firm
• Thorough knowledge of firm, technical, and training standards, practices, and guidelines
• Excellent organizational skills
• Professional business references and background screening required for final applicants
