Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Technology Training Program Team Leader to support NIH, delivering high-quality training across virtual, classroom, and hands-on formats. The role emphasizes design, customization, and continuous improvement of tech training for a diverse scientific audience in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a bachelor’s in education or related field and 5+ years of training experience. Onsite in Bethesda, MD with potential hybrid scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• 5+ years of training or teaching experience.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Experience designing training for broad and complex technical topics.
• Ability to deliver instruction through multiple modalities.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with enterprise technologies such as Microsoft 365 and Windows 11.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, customization, and delivery of technology training for NIH researchers, clinicians, administrators, and IT professionals.
• Create and maintain course schedule, ensuring a minimum of 10 courses are facilitated each month.
• Evaluate course effectiveness and student satisfaction regularly, using feedback for continuous improvement.
• Partner with other trainers to share best practices and enhance program quality.
• Engage with federal stakeholders to keep training material current and aligned with NIH needs.
• Teach virtual, classroom, hybrid, and hands-on courses, plus provide one-on-one consultation support.
• Support training operations by answering questions and providing technical assistance.
• Create SCORM- and Section 508-compliant online content for the NIH LMS.
• Review and update training materials as NIH technologies and software update.
• Onboard Deskside new hires with NIH systems (ServiceNow, Remote Access, Active Directory, etc.).
• Contribute to GDIT’s culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
