Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a training professional to identify OD user training needs, design course content for OD applications, and create clear instructional materials.

You will conduct training classes, coordinate with departments, monitor training effectiveness, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize impact while benefiting from comprehensive health, retirement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of training experience with custom developed and off-the-shelf applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products especially Publisher.
• Salesforce CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs for OD users and coordinate with OD Technology staff.
• Design course content related to OD applications.
• Prepare clear training material including agendas, instructional content, and aids.
• Conduct training classes for OD users on OD Technology applications.
• Schedule training with departments and service centers; monitor sessions for effectiveness.
• Ensure quality and consistency of course content throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal training groups to maximise scheduling and effectiveness.
• Some communication with external customers to demo OD products.
