Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line seeks a Training Content Designer to identify OD training needs, design course content, and deliver training on OD Technology applications. The role supports multiple departments and requires strong communication and presentation skills.

Education includes a CS-related degree and 4+ years of training experience. The position is full-time, on-site in Crest Hill, IL, with comprehensive health, retirement, and growth benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of training experience with custom developed and off-the-shelf applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products especially Publisher.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Salesforce CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist, support and coordinate with OD Technology staff in identifying the training needs of OD users.
• Interact with the OD Technology team to design course content related to applications.
• Prepare easy to understand training material including class agenda, instructional material, and training aids.
• Conduct training classes for OD users on applications provided by OD Technology.
• Communicate with departments and service center management to schedule training.
• Monitor training sessions and trainees to ensure effectiveness.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout the course life cycle.
• Coordinate with other internal training groups to maximize scheduling and effectiveness.
• Some communication with external customers to demo OD products.

Identify training needs for OD users, design course content and materials and conduct training classes on applications provided by OD Technology

Compensation Range:

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and state/local wage requirements.

$ 99,853 - $ 124,816
