Job summary

Paterson Public Schools is seeking an educator with specialized certifications to teach high school students using instructional technology. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of child development and effective teaching strategies, and be a strong critical thinker and problem solver who respects others.

Proficiency with interactive instructional software and clear communication with staff, students, parents, and the community is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold New Jersey Instructional Technology or Computer Science certificate.
• Experience working with high school students.
• Knowledge of child growth and development and effective instructional strategies.
• Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others.
• Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community.
