Job summary

Paterson Public Schools seeks a certified Spanish teacher to deliver standards-based instruction to K-8 students at a Paterson campus. The role emphasizes using NJSLS/NJSLA guidelines, data-driven planning, and effective instructional practices.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the community, and will work on-site at the Paterson school(s).

Qualifications

• Requires New Jersey Spanish Teacher Certification.
• Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA.
• Demonstrated effective instructional practices and strategies.
• Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction.
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
