Job summary

The Muscogee County School District is seeking a Technology Systems Analyst to support the planning and management of technology projects across schools and administrative facilities. You will research technologies, align with stakeholders, and help meet short and long‑term district goals.

The role leads new installations and major enhancements, plans long-term projects, and works with the Leadership Team to forecast resource needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree; experience planning large-scale projects with budget components.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Experience planning large-scale projects with budgetary components.
• Written and oral communication; Basic Math; spreadsheet and data analysis software knowledge; familiarity with administrative software applications.
• Routine physical activities are required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Advises other departments on technology infrastructure to improve ROI.
• Assist in planning and executing district technology refresh projects and disposal of old tech.
• Assist in evaluating software and updates for district needs.
• Coordinate district-wide training, workshops, and support groups for district technology tools.
• Develop and maintain reports in district databases and assist with report writing.
• Develop documentation for district applications and participate in district Technology Plan initiatives.
• Represent IT on large-scale projects and provide input on hardware/software purchasing.
• Stay current on technology trends and assist staff with web content filtering for safety.
• Attend district meetings to communicate information.
• Facilitate work and communication between IT units and committees.
• Serve as IT resource to schools, businesses, and community to support objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by administrators.
