Job summary

Muscogee County School District Bradley Tech in Columbus, GA seeks a Technology Support Specialist to maintain robust classroom technology and support educators and students. Starting date is immediate; the role is non-exempt, 240 work days, hourly wage $19.58, reporting to Manager, Technology Project and Support Services.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, deploy updates, support interactive displays and AV systems, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturer-specific device certification training; Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in technology support and repair preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or Microsoft Certified Technician are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely hardware and software support for classroom devices.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Install software updates and configure devices.
• Repair interactive displays, AV systems, and computing devices.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and service.
• Train staff on technology tools and best practices.
• Support networking and Wi-Fi connectivity in classrooms.
