Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) seeks a Technology Support Specialist to deliver on-site customer and endpoint support within the District Office's dynamic help-desk environment in Tempe.
You will troubleshoot hardware and software, assist with device provisioning, and leverage MECM, Intune, and JAMF to manage endpoints, while guiding student assistants and maintaining clean asset records.
Information Technology Services (ITS) at MCCCD is seeking a dedicated Technology Support Specialist to join the Customer Care team at the District Office. The position delivers critical, on‑site customer and computer endpoint support, ensuring exceptional service delivery in a dynamic help‑desk environment. It involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical requests, and assisting with device provisioning while leveraging expertise in enterprise endpoint management systems such as MECM, Intune, and JAMF.
High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience with desktop user support or technical support for equipment, networks, systems, telecommunications, or technology security. No substitution or equivalency is allowed for the high‑school diploma or GED. An equivalent combination of degree, education, certification and directly related full‑time work experience may be considered if it meets the essential duties of the job.
This position is 100 % onsite at the District Office, 8550 S Priest Dr, Tempe, AZ 85284. The candidate must reside in the Phoenix area or relocate within an agreed timeframe. The role may involve after‑hours work, non‑regular business hours, prolonged sitting and frequent computer use, and presenting in large meetings and sponsored events. ITS does not sponsor work visas.
