Information Technology Services (ITS) at the MCCCD seeks an experienced IT Manager, PeopleSoft Product Management on the Business Enablement (BE) team. Under the direction of the IT Director, this critical position will manage the PeopleSoft functional team. The IT Manager is responsible for all functional work for PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM), PeopleSoft Financial Management (FMS), and Oracle Planning & Budgeting Service (EPM) systems. This position manages team activities, including assignment and tracking, training, serves as the functional lead for projects, and leads design discussions. The IT Manager is also a focal point for ensuring production support, collaboration with development and security teams, upgrades, and enhancements. This role takes on a product manager stance for HCM, FMS, and MPB products and participates in decision‑making activities related to these products. This role frequently engages with business owners and technical teams to develop new functionality to meet business requirements and enhance existing customizations and applications. In addition to showcasing exceptional functional lead/manager experience with PeopleSoft applications, the person in this role enjoys sharing their knowledge and mentoring junior developers.
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology or a directly related field and five (5) years of professional experience in the area related to assignment, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience. OR an equivalent combination of the conferred degree, education, certification, and directly related full‑time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
There is a mandatory minimum in‑office requirement. The selected candidate will need to reside in the Phoenix area or relocate within an agreed upon timeframe. This role may involve after‑hours work and non‑regular business hours. May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor. May be required to present in large meetings and sponsored events. ITS does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visas.
