Job summary

RSM is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern to work across manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, and more. You will gain hands-on client experience with access to executives and a Performance Advisor to guide development throughout the internship.

The internship emphasizes understanding internal controls, SOX/IT controls, and information technology risk. A CPA/CISA/CIA pathway is encouraged, with travel to client locations possibly required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited university.
• Strong foundation in accounting and information systems.
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in risk consulting activities and client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and optimization of controls for client engagements.
• Support internal control documentation and project tasks.
• Engage with client leadership to understand risk and strategy.
• Learn TRC processes and contribute to SOX/SOC project activities.
