Job summary

RSM is seeking an intern for its Risk Consulting team to gain hands-on client experience across industries, working with professionals to understand business processes, controls, and IT risk management.

The internship offers exposure to SOX, SOC, and IT controls testing, with guidance from a Performance Advisor to aid development and continuous learning opportunities within the TRC practice.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university, expected completion by Dec 2027/Jun 2028.
• Majors in Accounting and/or related degrees.
• Majors in Information Systems and/or related degrees.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Travel to client locations may be required; reliable transportation needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Ability to work as an effective team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and optimization of internal controls.
• Engage with client leadership on strategies to anticipate emerging technology risks.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)/SOC engagements and IT controls testing.
• Assist in creating internal control documentation to support client engagements.
