Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an intern for the 360 Careers Summer 2027 Internship in Assurance - Technology Risk. This program provides a structured, skills-based experience designed to help you build confidence and start a rewarding career in a globally connected firm.

As an Intern, you’ll support documenting business and IT processes, assist with control testing, collaborate on engagement planning, and help manage project progress and risk.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Information Systems.
• Pursue CPA/CISA/CISSP/CA certifications.
• Willingness to travel and work in a client-facing environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document clients’ business and IT processes, risks, and controls.
• Perform control documentation and testing through review of client evidence and interviews.
• Collaborate with engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines.
• Monitor and manage project progress and risks, informing key stakeholders.
• Create flowcharts and process documentation for relevant processes.
• Assist with SOC, ITGCs assessments, and SOX-related activities.
