Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Risk & Insurance Specialist to build operational excellence across contracts, claims, and day-to-day insurance operations. You will work with Compute, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Security, Product and Payroll to identify risks and structure global programs.

The role emphasizes automation with AI, data-driven reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in insurance, corporate risk management, brokerage, underwriting, or risk consulting.
• At least 4 years on the corporate (buyer) side, or in a broker or carrier role serving corporate clients.
• Experience at or insuring a technology company or fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Insurance review of contracts: review insurance and indemnity requirements in customer, vendor, lease, and compute agreements.
• Insurance operations: manage claims intake and tracking, certificates of insurance, broker coordination, and policy administration.
• Data gathering and reporting: collect and maintain exposure data for renewals, audits, and underwriting submissions.
• Actuarial and quantitative analysis: support limit-adequacy, loss, and retention analyses.
