Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior risk professional to serve as a key contributor to the Technology Risk second line of defense (LoD2). You will provide independent oversight of technology risk across multiple domains, partner with Enterprise Technology, advise on risk topics, and challenge through risk programs.

Lead the design and execution of the Information Risk Oversight Governance and Committee Program, establishing governance standards, reporting, escalation, and accountability that connect risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of banking, technology, operations or risk management experience
• Strong business acumen and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity
• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfort with data and analysis

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (i.e. LOD2) for Truist Technology risk and related domains
• Serve as SME and steward of the Technology Risk Framework
• Oversee maturity of technology controls to achieve business outcomes
• Foster proactive risk culture through governance routines with technology teams
• Review and challenge outcomes of first-line-of-defense risk program
• Monitor regulatory and audit matters for assigned areas
• Lead complex enterprise-wide projects and mentor others
• Bridge business and IT functions across advisory and implementation roles
