Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern to work with diverse clients and gain hands-on experience under a Performance Advisor. You will participate in client meetings, assist with internal audits and SOX/compliance projects, and travel to client sites as needed.

Applicants should be pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting (preferred), with 90 credit hours completed, a 3.0 GPA preferred, and strong MS Office skills. CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BA/BS in Accounting (preferred) or related field
• 90 credit hours completed
• GPA 3.0 preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
• CPA certification or in progress preferred

Responsibilities

• Sit in on client meetings and support consulting projects
• Prepare reports on consulting services and discuss results with clients
• Travel to client locations to provide services as needed
• Complete client projects efficiently within timelines
• Leverage Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to analyze data and document results
• Attend conferences, trainings, and meetings for professional development
