Job summary

ARM Institute in Pittsburgh is seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead cross‑functional teams in the development, validation, and adoption of robotics, AI, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

You will manage projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring on‑time delivery within budget and in line with contractual requirements while collaborating with government sponsors, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering/robotics/manufacturing or related field.
• 1+ years of experience managing technical projects, engineering programs, manufacturing initiatives, or advanced technology projects.
• Thorough understanding of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel as required, estimated at 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from award through closeout, ensuring deliverables align with schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project performance, risks, and financial status throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate resources and activities to achieve program objectives.
• Conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Develop mitigation plans for risks, issues, and schedule impacts.
• Measure and report performance using technical, financial, and operational metrics.
• Lead development, integration, validation, qualification, and technology demonstration activities.
• Coordinate technical reviews, meetings, and milestone reviews.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables and reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Support contract compliance and deliverable tracking.
• Assist with project closeout activities and lessons learned.
