Job summary

Livingston is seeking a Technology Product Owner to guide development from concept through delivery. You will align the product vision with user needs, manage the backlog, write actionable stories, and ensure value-driven outcomes across cross-functional teams.

You will partner with engineering, UX, and PM to scope work, lead UI design, and drive QA and UAT, delivering features that meet acceptance criteria and business goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development lifecycle.

JOB SUMMARY

The Technology Product Owner works with the development team, the end users, as well as product management to ensure the technical team is building a viable effective and value driven product. You will be responsible for managing the vision and execution of product development through the development lifecycle and beyond.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the product vision and roadmap and define growth opportunities. Convey the value of new and emerging products, technologies or applications to senior management across a diverse product team.
• Define the product backlog and create actionable user stories for the development teams.
• Accept the completed user stories to make sure the work fulfills the criteria
• Consult with users across the company to gather requirements and solicit user feedback; translate required features into stories based on usable solution design.
• Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process, collaborating with project stakeholders (internal and external) and IT throughout development.
• Partner with engineering and project management resources to accurately scope work and coordinate necessary resources.
• Lead design for a standalone user interface (UI) in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project and coding standards and processes.
• Play an active role in removing any barriers impacting successful team completion of product development.
• Help the business stakeholders define and orchestrate user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and ensure stories and enablers meet acceptance criteria.
• Perform or oversee QA testing and facilitate UAT prior to delivery.
• Leverage post-implementation feedback to inform product priorities for subsequent phases of development.
• Provide input to training and communications based on functionality and design as required; conduct training as needed.
• Support users across the organization answering questions, making recommendations and providing a transparent view of priorities and progress.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Work well in a team environment to manage project workload and to facilitate the delivery of projects
• Expertisewith Scrum Agile, in deliverable management, and in prioritization of team assignment
• Expertise in cloud-based methodologies and practices
• Knowledge of database structure and best practices
• Project management/issue tracking software exposure
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work with employees throughout the company to quickly understand scope requirements and proposed architecture and solutions.
• Ability to effectively define, estimate, and execute technical projects.
• Innate curiosity and desire to learn and explore new emerging technologies.
• Ability to formulate T-SQL Queries in Microsoft SQL or MySQL preferred.
• Knowledge of Qlik or similar Data Visualization tool (i.e., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.) preferred.
• Familiarity with statistics and complex data models for leveraging meaningful insights preferred.
• Ability to work with novice users to design, implement, and maintain BI reports / dashboards preferred.
