You will support VPN, firewall, and ISE services, coordinating with networks, SecOps, and service desk to keep connectivity fast and secure.

The role emphasizes hands‑on Cisco platforms, incident/change management, and automation using APIs and IaC practices. On‑site work five days a week with on‑call duties are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
• Experience operating Cisco network security platforms in a large enterprise or service‑provider environment.
• Hands‑on with Cisco ASA (multi‑context, failover, NAT, ACL, SSL VPN, IPsec, etc.).
• Production experience with Cisco Firepower/FTD managed through FMC/CDO, including policy and IPS.
• Knowledge of Firepower Chassis Manager / FXOS and ISE integration with AD/Entra ID.
• Experience using Cisco Security Manager and Cisco Defense Orchestrator for multi‑device policy management.
• Hands‑on with ThousandEyes, test design, alerting, and RCA.
• Strong scripting (Python) and familiarity with CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Provides Level 2 and Level 3 support for remote‑access VPN services and firewall features.
• Triages, diagnoses, and resolves incidents across Cisco ASA/Firepower and related infrastructure.
• Participates in a 24x7 on‑call rotation for P1/P2 incidents affecting remote connectivity or security.
• Leads major incident bridges, performs root‑cause analyses, and delivers post‑incident reviews.
• Plans and implements changes through Cisco Security Manager, Cisco Defense Orchestrator, and FMC/FTD.
• Manages ISE policy sets, authentication rules, and AD/MFA integrations.
• Maintains Firepower software lifecycle, FXOS upgrades, high‑availability clustering.
• Operates ThousandEyes coverage to monitor remote‑access user experience and network health.
• Builds dashboards and alerts; correlates ThousandEyes data with firewall/VPN telemetry.
• Supports audit, vulnerability management, and certificate lifecycle activities.
