Job summary

JPMorganChase in New Jersey seeks a Lead Software Engineer-Security and Privileged Access to advance secure, scalable technology products within Corporate Technology's Identity and Access Management team.

You will contribute as a core technical developer, drive automation and AI-assisted improvements, and lead cross-functional collaboration to strengthen authentication, authorization, and risk controls across the firm's systems.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, encryption and RBAC/ABAC.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems across architectures.
• Develops secure production code and reviews code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability.
• Leads architecture evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams.
• Leads communities of practice in Software Engineering and promotes new technologies.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with validation standards.
• Applies SDLC toolchain skills to improve automation value.
