Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining IT services.
• Experience operating Cisco network security platforms in a large enterprise.
• Hands-on with Cisco ASA (multi-context, failover, NAT, ACL, SSL VPN, IPsec).
• Production experience with Cisco Firepower/FTD managed via FMC and/or Cisco Defense Orchestrator.
• Experience with ISE policy sets and AD/Entra ID integration.
• Hands-on with ThousandEyes for monitoring and alerting.
• Strong networking fundamentals including BGP/OSPF, NAT, DNS, TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 support for remote-access VPN services (SSL/IPsec, AnyConnect).
• Triages and resolves incidents across Cisco ASA, Firepower, ISE and related infrastructure.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for P1/P2 incidents affecting remote connectivity or security.
• Lead major incident bridges and conduct post-incident reviews with action items.
• Plan and implement changes using Cisco Security Manager, Cisco Defense Orchestrator, and related tools including NAT, ACL, VPN, and SSL decryption changes.
• Manage ISE policy sets, authentication/authorization rules, posture, and certificate services integration with AD/MFA/pxGrid.
• Maintain Firepower software lifecycle on FCM-managed platforms including FXOS upgrades and FTD HA pairs.
• Operate ThousandEyes coverage across Cloud/Enterprise/Endpoint; correlate findings with telemetry to speed MTTR.
• Build and tune dashboards, alerts, and synthetic tests; ensure rapid detection/restoration.
