The role requires mentoring engineers, delivering five-nines uptime, managing vendor relationships, and guiding cybersecurity and disaster-recovery initiatives within a carrier-grade environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in telecommunications or network engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and L2/L3 switching.
• Experience with DWDM and optical transport.
• Experience in ISP/Carrier environments.
• Strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across Network Engineering, Transport, and IT.
• Oversee carrier-grade IP networking architectures, including routing and L2/L3 topologies.
• Manage dynamic routing protocols and traffic engineering.
• Direct DWDM and optical transport operations; ensure redundancy.
• Design scalable network architectures and capacity planning.
• Oversee security policies, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Guide technology evaluations, vendor negotiations, and RFP processes.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for fiber, ISP, and network deployments.
