Location: India

We are looking for a Manager, Technology (ideally in Java, Python, Node.js, or similar stacks) with (10-15 years) experience and familiar with DevOps practices and QA methodologies.

Job Purpose

• Do you love solving real-world puzzles and driving impact through innovative tech? Are you skilled at guiding engineering teams while staying hands-on in your craft? Do you bridge the gap between strategic vision and technical execution?

In this role, you will mentor a small, skilled group of developers and specialists, deliver robust and scalable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring our ambitious vision to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Team Leadership & Management
• Manage and support a professional team consisting of 3 Backend Engineers, 1 DevOps Engineer, 2 QA Specialists, 3 FrontEnd Engineers
• Provide technical leadership, performance feedback, and career development.
• Partner with Product Owners and key stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Translate strategic priorities into day-to-day plans and delegate effectively.
• Technical Problem Solving
• Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organisational challenges.
• Make decisions guided by policies, resource planning, and strategic objectives.
• Influence the wider team by promoting engineering best practices.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing professional software development teams.
• Strong backend development experience (ideally in Java, Python, Node.js, or similar stacks).
• Strong frontend development experience in React.js & Java script
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, QA methodologies and microservices focused infrastructure
• Track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within scope.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in project/resource planning and contributing to organizational objectives.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Contentful CMS and Atlassian tools is a nice to have

Strategic Contribution

Be accountable for the performance and results of the backend team.

Collaborate with senior leaders on budgeting, resource allocation, and timelines.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a bridge between senior leadership and technical staff.

Guide, influence, and persuade cross-functional stakeholders.

Represent backend engineering in cross-departmental planning and initiatives.
