Job summary

Penn State is seeking a Technology Licensing Associate to support portfolio management across Life Sciences, Physical Sciences/Engineering, and Agricultural Sciences. The role focuses on translating technical information into business development materials and building strategic relationships with inventors and licensees.

You will assist in negotiations and participation throughout license processes, contributing to OTT goals. This in-person role is based in University Park, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (Penn State does not sponsor visas).

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies to develop IP portfolios and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage Penn State invention portfolios and assist new inventors with disclosures.
• Create business development materials to engage inventors and industry liaisons.
