Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago is seeking a Training Specialist to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate technology and professional skills training across the Firm. You will work with IT, Human Resources, and stakeholders to identify learning needs and measure outcomes.

The role includes creating learning materials, maintaining the LMS, conducting sessions for new hires and staff, and evaluating applications and workflows. Occasional travel to other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience training legal or professional services employees.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, delivers, maintains, and evaluates instructor‑led, virtual, self‑paced, and blended learning programs.
• Creates and maintains learning materials including facilitator guides, guides, videos, and eLearning modules.
• Reviews training content after software releases and updates.
• Conducts orientation and training for new hires on Firm applications and workflows.
• Assesses and customizes training based on individual needs and feedback.
• Maintains LMS and tracks attendance, records, and content updates.
• Collaborates with IT and stakeholders and coordinates with vendors for training content.
• Travels up to 10% domestically and internationally as needed.
