Job summary

Wilson Elser seeks a Learning Specialist & Trainer to design and deliver end-user training across our national law firm. You will enable adoption of core software, partner with attorneys and staff, and apply instructional design principles to create compelling curricula.

This role emphasizes coaching, change management, and hands-on support, with travel to offices as needed. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in professional services training and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a professional services training role with strong communication skills.
• Subject matter expertise with Windows OS and its integrated ecosystem.
• Experience supporting a legal or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, systems administration, and operational support capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for coaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Create courseware and update intranet content; tailor training strategies for onboarding and new product launches.
• Deliver training in live meetings, one-on-one sessions, and classroom settings for varied skill levels.
• Develop IT and end user training on computer hardware and application software.
• Research and revise training courses; prepare training catalogs and materials.
• Act as subject matter expert on firm core software (Office 365, Windows, iManage, Emburse, DropBox, Webtime/iTimekeep, Zoom/Teams).
• Travel to nationwide offices to conduct in-person training.
• Provide empathetic support and issue resolution to enhance user experience.
• Partner with attorneys, legal staff, and IT to identify needs and improve tool usage.
• Lead change management initiatives for system transitions and tool rollouts.
