Job summary

Citizens is seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Associate I to join our Investment Banking team in San Francisco.

The Associate I will be involved in all facets of Citizens’ investment banking activities and will support origination and execution of private and public financings (equity, equity-linked and debt), as well as mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services across the group with a focus on technology.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct investment banking or transaction-related experience.
• Technology sector transaction experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate ideas persuasively and clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and modeling for a variety of tech-focused transactions.
• Conduct industry and company research and coordinate processes for financing or sale.
• Prepare pitch materials, client presentations, offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and engage with clients within Citizens' technology coverage universe.
