Cantor Fitzgerald in San Francisco seeks an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join its Technology Group. The Associate will play a key role in the execution of mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory assignments for a broad range of technology clients.

Working closely with senior bankers, the Associate will help lead transaction execution, oversee analyst work product, and maintain direct interaction with clients and other transaction

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of investment banking experience, preferably in technology or related advisory practices.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, valuation methodologies, and transaction execution.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior professionals.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and review of complex financial models (DCF, LBO, mergers, accretion/dilution).
• Execute M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions from origination through closing.
• Prepare and review pitch books, management presentations, and offering memoranda.
• Conduct analysis across software, AI, fintech, internet, cybersecurity, semiconductor, and broader tech sectors.
• Manage due diligence and coordinate with clients, counsel, and auditors.
• Oversee and mentor analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
