Job summary

Jefferies is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for the Technology group in San Francisco. The role focuses on supporting senior bankers with due diligence, deal execution, and client presentations, while developing target lists and performing industry research.

The successful candidate will conduct financial modeling and valuation analyses, mentor Analysts, and contribute to equity financing and M&A transactions within the technology sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic record.
• 3-5 years investment banking transaction advisory experience.
• Highly motivated, confident and passionate.
• Lives in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
• Superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Directly support senior bankers with day-to-day transaction due diligence and execution
• Draft and participate in the presentation of marketing / new business pitches, confidential offering memoranda and management presentations
• Develop target lists for potential buyers, investors and strategic partners
• Conduct in-depth industry research and trend analysis
• Perform complex financial modeling and valuation analysis
• Mentor and train Analysts
